In the first reading, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported draft law No. 10265, which provides for the cancellation of roaming fees for Ukrainians traveling in the countries of the European Union. This is stated in the official notification of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
According to the text of the draft law, subscribers of Ukrainian mobile operators during their 4-month stay in the EU will be able to use their national tariffs without additional roaming charges. This rule will also apply to European travelers visiting Ukraine.
“The approval of this draft law is an important step on the way to the European integration of Ukraine and the creation of a single digital market with the EU,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine noted.
It is expected that the people’s deputies will soon adopt the draft law as a whole.
