The Cabinet of Ministers approved the action plan for 2023-2024 regarding the further implementation of the Cyber Security Strategy of Ukraine.
This was reported by the press service of the State Special Communications Service , Ukrinform reports.
“Today, the government adopted the order “On the approval of the plan of measures for 2023-2024 for the implementation of the Cybersecurity Strategy of Ukraine.” The document defines tasks and measures aimed at achieving the goals of the Strategy, as well as sets indicators and deadlines for their implementation,” the message reads.
It is emphasized that the key areas of work will be regulatory and legal support of activities in the spheres of cyber security , cyber protection and cyber defense; development of the technological component of the national cyber security system; establishment of closer cooperation with international partners.
It is also planned to organize scientific research and establish the process of training personnel in the field of cyber security.
Separately, it is about the introduction of measures to strengthen the cyber protection of critical information infrastructure objects.
As reported, the Russian invasion of Ukraine was another confirmation that the cyber sphere is a component of modern warfare and a new arena for global competition.
