The American-Australian “Internet 2.0” will help Ukraine resist attacks by Russian hackers

The National Cyber Security Center under the NSDC signed a memorandum of cooperation with the leading US and Australian cyber security organization “Internet 2.0”. The parties agreed on cooperation in the field of cyber security and holding joint educational trainings.

“Internet 2.0” will provide its technologies and share advanced experience for Ukraine’s cyber defense needs.

“No country can face modern challenges in cyberspace alone. We constantly interact with international partners, strengthen cooperation to exchange information, conduct training, and together we oppose Russian aggression, because Russian hackers are a threat not only to Ukraine, but also to the whole world,” said Serhiy Demedyuk, deputy secretary of the RBNO of Ukraine.

At the same time, Ukraine became the first Internet 2.0 partner in the world outside of the countries of the Five Eyes intelligence alliance (FVEY), which includes Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

It is noted that “Internet 2.0” has opened an office in Ukraine.

Internet 2.0 is a leading joint US-Australian cyber security organization whose mission is to protect customers and partners from the most advanced cyber threats.
