Starlink is already available in more than 50 countries

The Starlink satellite Internet service from the American company SpaceX is already available in more than half a hundred countries around the world.

As reported by Ukrinform, the company itself announced this on  Twitter .

“Starlink is now available in more than 50 countries around the world!” – stated in SpaceX .

It is noted that the last country in which satellite Internet service became available is El Salvador.

Meanwhile, the government of Ecuador  said that in the coming days they will start providing Starlink services to the Galapagos Islands, which are located approximately 1,000 kilometers west of the Latin American mainland in the Pacific Ocean.

In Ecuador itself, the Internet from Starlink became available earlier this year.

As Ukrinform reported, at the end of February, SpaceX launched the latest V2 mini satellites into space, which will provide an improved signal for the Starlink Internet system.

To date, SpaceX has launched more than 4,000 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit.

In addition, the company already has approval to launch 12,000 Starlink spacecraft and has applied to the regulator for permission to launch up to 30,000 more satellites.
