OneWeb satellite internet is now available in Europe

Starlink’s main competitor, OneWeb, which until recently was on the verge of bankruptcy, can now provide satellite Internet to regions above 35 degrees north latitude, including all of Europe.

The British operator began actively expanding its coverage at the end of May, adding 37 new countries in Europe to its list, including Austria, Italy, France, Portugal, as well as Germany, as well as the entire US west coast from Washington to California, the US northeast coast from Maine to Virginia.

Now the British company officially guarantees stable connections throughout its coverage. Previously, the company guaranteed the continued availability of its services only above the 50th parallel, which in Germany included only the central and northern parts of the country.
