    About the Partnership

The collaboration builds on a proven and growing track record in Brazil, where Netmore’s carrier-grade LoRaWAN networks and BrightCity’s intelligent lighting platform are enabling municipalities to modernize critical urban infrastructure at scale. Contracted deployments include hundreds of thousands of streetlights across Brazil, including over 17,000 in Feira de Santana and more than 11,000 in Aracaju.

The partnership comes as demand for connected lighting accelerates worldwide. According to a new research report from IoT analyst firm Berg Insight, the global installed base of smart streetlights reached 38.5 million at the end of 2025 and is forecast to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 17.9 percent to 87.6 million by the end of 2030.

Through an expanded partnership, BrightCity will leverage Netmore’s public LoRaWAN networks and purpose-built network solutions to support new smart street lighting and smart city deployments across international markets, giving municipalities, utilities, and infrastructure operators a scalable, secure, and future-ready connectivity foundation for their digital transformation programs.
