The companies Microsoft, Cisco and Ericsson are helping the Ukrainian operator “Kyivstar” to resume work after a large-scale cyber attack.
Oleksandr Komarov, the company’s president, told about this in an interview with Forbes.
In addition, the SBU, State Special Communications and CERT-UA help to investigate a cyber attack and restore the operator’s cyber security.
“We cooperate a lot with Microsoft, Cisco, Ericsson. In fact, it is a global team that is involved in solving this case,” Komarov notes.
According to him, Ericsson is involved in infrastructure restoration. Microsoft is an expert in investigation because you need to understand the root cause of the problem. At the same time, Cisco is a provider of all cyber defense systems.
“In order to raise this perimeter and protect it, we are helped by Cisco as our largest service provider,” adds the head of Kyivstar .
